Guest Instructor: Tiahna Age: 16+ Saturday Jan. 24th and 31st Prerequisites: Prior wheel throwing experience We are honored to have the lovely Tiahna teaching a 2-day Wheel Tea Pot Workshop. This is not a beginner wheel workshop. You will need to be able to center, open and pull up walls. Must be present for both weeks (no make-up sessions). Our studio has a love for learning, so our classes and workshops focus on process not product. Day 1- Jan. 24th: Tea Pot making Demo and throwing tine Day 2- Jan. 31st: Trim and attach your pieces At the end of day 2 you will pick your favorite glaze we will glaze it for you. Included in this workshop: - Clay - Fabulous teacher! - Glaze and firing *Portland Clay House makes no guarantees on the end product. Pottery is a finicky art form and we can’t guarantee your piece will be what you hoped and expected it to be. We will do our best to nurture your piece while it’s in our possession. Glazing and firing can have unpredictable results even for the most experienced potters. Turn around time can take up to the 3 weeks.

Cancellation Policy
72-hour notice is required to cancel class or workshop. No refunds after 72-hours. Only registered participants are allowed during a class, workshop or lesson. Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the class or workshop you sign up for, we won't allow refunds if you do not. No outside clay or glaze allowed without the approval from Portland Clay House. Clay and glazes not compatible with our studio kilns can cause costly damage and will be charged to the student. Ages 13+ (Our workshops are geared towards adults, younger participants must be able to manage the class expectations and class projects).
